Introduc​tion​

Welcome to Ginnie Mae's Summit Series! 

Established in 2022, the Summit Series is a regular event for leading experts from around the world to discuss key subjects related to the U.S. housing industry. In lieu of one big Summit as we have done in the past, this Series will have a more focused approach on housing finance topics that range from general to specific conversations and is designed to create an engaging and thought-provoking interaction for participants.

Our Summits:

  • Increase visibility for existing and emerging topics critical to maintaining the important connection between the government sector and the private mortgage market. 
  • Provide assurances to domestic and international markets about the U.S. housing market that, in turn, allow us to attract additional global capital.
  • Share recent policy and program updates with our stakeholders.

Summit Series events have included a landmark gathering of Ginnie Mae Presidents, past and present, as well as a return of our widely regarded and well-attended Global Investors event, both of which you can learn more about below. We are planning several Summits this year, details of which can also be found on this page. We look forward to having you in attendance!

​Recent Event Highlights
​​

As a leader in the global capital market, Ginnie Mae hosted the 2022 Global Investor Summit in Washington, DC on November 2nd and 3rd. The Summit took place at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development in the Brooke Mondale Auditorium of the Robert C. Weaver Federal Building. The forum included domestic and international guests from central banks, sovereign wealth funds, public pensions, insurance companies, investment banks, global asset management firms, fixed-income managers, and housing finance policymakers and professionals. International guests included representatives from the following countries: Taiwan, the Philippines, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, and Singapore. 

The 2022 Ginnie Mae Global Investor Summit was an opportunity for Ginnie Mae leadership and top professionals in the international housing finance industry to come together and promote discourse around issues and policies related to Ginnie Mae products and the overall trends in the housing market.
